2SL did a fabulous job on the renovation of our 1925 bungalow, completely gutting our kitchen and adding almost 1,000 square feet on the second floor. John and Lina were great to work with on our plans; they listened carefully to what we wanted and incorporated our ideas in ways that made sense. They collaborated with us to keep the historical character and feel of the house, overcoming several design challenges along the way. Throughout construction, our project manager was easy to work with and also listened to our ideas about what and how we wanted things done. He was great at translating our layperson's thoughts into construction terms that the crew could implement and make reality. Time and budget were critical for us as we needed to finish our project before historic tax credits expired. 2SL paid close attention to the timeline and got our project finished in time. They also worked with us to stay close to our original budget. Overall, we are extremely pleased and would highly recommend them.
